Resolve is a reactive ear training method and practice tool for learning to hear a chord and intuitively navigate the range of sounds that relate to that harmony on your instrument, without relying on labelling or analysis.
Rather than consciously identifying chords, notes, intervals and scales, practicing with Resolve trains you to respond directly to what you hear - developing a feel for where different levels of stability, tension, and colour exist under your fingers.
Through the combination of a dynamic practice app and a structured video course, Resolve helps build a direct connection between the sounds you recognise and the physical layout of your instrument.

Resolve combines a structured video course with a custom-built practice tool - designed to work together.
The course, taught by Tom Quayle and David Beebee, walks you through the reactive ear training method step by step, showing you how to approach the exercises and develop this way of hearing and navigating.
The Resolve app generates constantly changing harmonic material for you to respond to in real time.
You control the level of harmonic complexity, allowing you to start with simpler, more stable sounds and gradually explore more complex and dissonant ones.
The full video course is included with the app, and is designed to complement, not replace, your existing practices.
